Terms of Service
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Welcome to VenueSite. By accessing or using venuesite.us or any website we host on your behalf, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What VenueSite provides
VenueSite is a self-serve platform that builds and hosts a marketing website for your wedding or event venue and provides an in-house lead CRM — inquiry capture, a pipeline, an availability calendar with date holds, and tour scheduling. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the venue to create an account.
2. Your account & content
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. You retain ownership of the content you submit (business details, photos, copy). You grant us a license to host, display, adapt, and generate derivative marketing content from it for the purpose of operating your site and the service. You represent that you have the rights to everything you upload and that it is lawful and not infringing.
3. AI-generated content
We use AI to draft website copy from the facts you provide. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all published content for accuracy before and after it goes live. The editor lets you change every word; published content is yours and your responsibility.
4. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Premium) are billed monthly or annually to the venue by VenueSite.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your site is unpublished thereafter.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated at purchase. Refund requests are handled case by case.
- We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice.
VenueSite bills you for your subscription to the platform. VenueSite does not process payments between your venue and your clients.
5. Leads & inquiries
Inquiries submitted through your venue site are delivered to your CRM and to your notification email. You are the controller of that contact data and are responsible for using it lawfully, including any marketing or SMS follow-up you choose to send. See our Privacy Policy for how we process it on your behalf.
6. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
- No content that is obscene, hateful, or that we determine is inappropriate for the platform.
- No attempts to breach security, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or other users.
- No impersonation or misrepresenting a venue you are not authorized to represent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund.
7. Custom domains & third-party services
If you connect a custom domain, you are responsible for owning and configuring it. The service relies on third-party providers (hosting, database, email, AI, image, and payment processors) whose own terms apply. We are not responsible for third-party sites linked from your content.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated content is accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VenueSite and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VenueSite from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your handling of leads, or your violation of these Terms.
11. SMS & communications
If a client provides a mobile number and opts in through an inquiry form on your venue site, they consent to receive messages from your venue about their inquiry, tours, and bookings. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You are responsible for complying with applicable messaging laws in your outreach.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which VenueSite operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. (Jurisdiction to be finalized before launch.)
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; changes are effective when posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
